Short weapons can be used in one hand by a Kung Fu Warrior. It can be swung link a sword and is perfect in a situation where a fighter cannot use their long weapon. Such as in close encounters with the enemy. Some short weapons being used by a Kung Fu martial artist are a Snake Straight Sword, Eight Corner Hammer, Iron Flute just to name a few.
Next on the list are soft weapons. You might be curious how a Kung fu master can use soft weapons effectively on an opponent. A soft weapon is flexible weapons that are jointed or is attached to a rope. It‘s very easy to hide soft weapons because they are compacted and attached to a long rope. Some soft weapons include, Meteor Hammer, Flying Weight, and Dragon Head stick among others.
Last but not least are twin weapons. These are weapons of the same type being held in each of your hands. In Kung fu the name of the game when it comes to twin weapons are balance. You need to know how to balance out your twin weapons in order to remain effective against your opponent. Some twin weapons include Nine Teeth Hook, Twin Daggers, Iron Comb and much more.
